This position requires the ability to manage, design and oversee projects from beginning to end.  The qualified candidate will be able to develop technical solutions in Revit, electronically draft plans, elevations, sections and details.  Assists in developing and producing construction documents working closely with lead designer to establish and implement project concepts.  Serve as a resource for development of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction practices.  Candidates will have a minimum of 5-10 years professional experience and demonstrate excellent design skills, strong technical proficiency and have the ability to be an integral team member.   Requirements include architecture degree, architecture license, and proficiencies in: AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, MS Office Suite, and Photoshop. Historic Preservation Architect – Bozeman, MT

CTA Inc. Bozeman, Montana has an opening for a Historic Preservation Architect. Join an innovative and inspired group of design professionals in a collaborative environment with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction. This position requires a professional architecture degree, 3-5 years’ experience working with an architectural firm, and a demonstrated interest in historic preservation, with a career goal of working in historic preservation. A Master’s degree in Historic Preservation is preferred.

The successful candidate will be working with a nationally-recognized historic preservation expert on National Park Service projects, Building assessments, Historic Preservation Tax Credit projects, Historic Structure Reports, and restorations and renovations of various buildings throughout the Rocky Mountain West. IT Tech CAD Assistant/Help Desk Tech I – Boise, ID

CTA Inc. Boise, Idaho seeks IT Tech CAD Assistant/Help Desk Tech I. Candidate will assist in maintaining Revit/CAD standards and train/support employees on the use of CAD/Revit software. Qualified candidate will provide technical support for CAD/BIM software including new version releases and customization, work with clients, interact on project standards, and ensure proper procedures are being followed.

Knowledge of drafting techniques, Arch, MEP, and Structural terminology expected. CAD Skills including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD MEP, and AutoCAD Civil 3D required. Familiarity with Microstation J/V8 XM platforms preferred.

Candidate will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements and resolving problems. Mechanical Engineer – Seattle, WA

Seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer who has experience and a passion for designing ‘high performance’ or ‘passive’ delivery systems. PE License is required. Consulting HVAC experience and LEED Accreditation is expected. Candidate must be comfortable taking a lead role alongside architects in an integrated design team approach. Experience with heating/cooling load calculations, passive system engineering, equipment selection, specifications, cost estimating, code compliance, pipe/duct/operable window sizing, digital control sequences and hybrid system layout is required.
