City officials and state representatives joined bicyclists and trail enthusiasts Wednesday for a ceremonial ribbon cutting to dedicate a new tunnel connecting bike/walking paths on each side of the busy Main Street between Billings downtown and the Heights.  The ribbon cutting marks a major accomplishment in the ongoing efforts by citizen’s group Bike Net with the collaboration of many community members and the City of Billings. Bike Net and others have been working hard to expand safe bike lanes and trail connections in Billings, making huge strides in recent years. CTA has been a generous supporter of Bike Net over the years. Among our contributions: volunteers, meeting space, and participation in the annual Ales For Trails event.
