Alongside several Girl Scouts, four CTA team members pitched in during United Way of Cascade County’s sixth annual “Take Pride In Our Parks” event in Great Falls, MT, on April 29. This is CTA’s second time participating in the local event, which makes an effort to promote a healthier community and bring families together!

There are 57 park locations within the city of Great Falls. CTA and the Girl Scout troupe cleaned up Carter Park — in a blight area near the CTA office — by picking up leaves, spreading mulch within the playground structure area, collecting garbage, and painting a booth where books could be exchanged. In total, around 30 garbage bags of leaves and trash were collected.

Special thanks go out to CTA’s Julie McHenry; Tony Krattiger; Casey Huffman and his daughter (4); Keith Cron, his wife Christina (Girl Scout troupe leader), son Colton (8), and daughter Ella (7). What a great way for CTA to give back to the community!

More info about the event is in this news story from KRTV.com.
