Lake District Hospital

A 61,000 sq. ft. addition to this critical access hospital is the result of a master plan study that prompted a new image to promote the facility and infrastructure to improve all aspects of patient care services. Additionally, the design incorporates several sustainable practices, including daylighting, occupant sensors for lights, recycled and low-VOC content in materials used, increased existing boiler system efficiency to 85%, air-to-air heat exchanger, and geothermal energy for space heating, domestic hot water heating, and snow melting.
