The bank is designed around modern concepts of functionality, sustainability, and regionalism. Anchored on a significant intersection in downtown Cody, WY, the building plan uses bank visitor flow, site vehicle flow, and solar orientation to define its form. Regional details like shed roofs, stone, timber and trellises, along with large expanses of glass, are used to create a dynamic connection between the interior and the outdoors. The 23,340 sq. ft. building uses heating and cooling systems 30% more efficient than national standards, and contains and filters all stormwater back into the aquifer. This project was awarded LEED Gold New Commercial in 2011.
